Based in Lake Norman, North Carolina, Vow Archive is led by filmmaker Gaven Ayala, who brings over 15 years of professional filmmaking experience to documenting wedding stories. My career behind the camera has taken me around the country, creating content in the action sports industry for some of the biggest athletes, brands, and media outlets. This experience has taught me how to anticipate moments, work seamlessly in fast-moving environments, and tell a story without being intrusive.
I apply that same philosophy to my weddings. There’s no overly staged production or turning your wedding into a film set. The goal is to capture your day naturally—the big moments, the details and small interactions, the people you cherish, and everything in between—resulting in a film that truly reflects your experience. Your wedding day will fly by, but your film will allow you to relive the moments you saw and the ones you didn’t.
